England's Gary Neville misses second training day
CARRINGTON, England, Jun 2 (Reuters) Right back Gary Neville missed training for a second day today and is a doubt for England's final World Cup warm-up game against Jamaica tomorrow.
The Manchester United defender picked up a hamstring problem during the 3-1 friendly win over Hungary on Tuesday.
''He's not training. He's back at the hotel doing gym work,'' an FA spokesman said, adding that an update on Neville's condition would be given during a news conference later today by coach Sven-Goran Eriksson.
Neville came off at halftime during Tuesday's game at Old Trafford and was replaced at right back by Jamie Carragher.
Coach Sven-Goran Eriksson said at the time Neville had come off as a precautionary measure.
Eriksson has no straight replacement in his squad at right back, meaning that Carragher or Owen Hargreaves would have to fill in.
England open their World Cup campaign in Group B against Paraguay on June 10. The group also includes Trindiad&Tobago and Sweden.
