eLearning company to go on recuritment drive

Chennai, Jun 2 (UNI) Hurix Systems Private Limited, the fastest growing eLearning company, today announced that it proposed to recruit about 200 freshers and experienced professionals in the next 12 months.

Addressing a press conference here, Mr Viswamitra Hariharan, COO, Hurix Systems, said the company had increased its overall headcount by around 200 per cent in the last fiscal and plans to recruit about 200 more in the next 12 months in the Chennai facility.

Hurix's current strength of nearly 450 employees in Chennai and Mumbai, included graphic designers and content developers apart from IT specialists, he said.

"In the next 12 months, Hurix plans to recruit more freshers and experienced professionals from the fine arts and the English literature streams. Given the rate at which Hurix's business is growing, headcount is expected to hit 600 by the end of the fiscal year," he said.

Mr Hariharan said that the eLearning industry was growing in leaps and bounds and the company was growing faster. "Hurix is set to become one of the major players in this space," he said adding the company was already doing business with all major global publishing houses.
