Delhi boys shock holders Chattisgarh

Ludhiana, June 2 (UNI) Delhi pulled off the biggest surprise by shocking defending champions Chattisgarh for 83 by 63 in the boys semi-final match in the 57th Dhanoa Junior National Basketball Championship at the Guru Nanak Indoor Stadium here tonight.

Aditya (20), Sashi (20) and Sarwan (22) starred in Delhi's triumph. T S Rao (10), Prathaman (20) and Murali (23) were the main scorers for Chattisgarh. Delhi scored 11 three-pointers while Chattisgarh registered eight.

Delhi is now pitted against Uttar Pradesh who snatched a nail-biting victory with a five-point margin (88-83) in the second semi-final encounter.
