CRPF saves 8 persons from drowning
Srinagar, June 2 (UNI) The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) today rescued eight persons from river Lidder at Pahalgam in south Kashmir.
A CRPF spokesman said eight persons fell into river Lidder when their rafting boat overturned.
He said personnel of 5th battalion, including commandant S D Panday, jumped into the river and rescued them.
