Alleged police informer killed by naxals

Balaghat, MP, June 2 (UNI) Naxals have killed a man on the suspicion that he was acting as a police informer at Satona village in this naxalite-infested district, police said today.

Superintendent of Police Santosh Singh said around 10 ultras, including three women, gunned down Mangal Singh Gond last night.

The body has been sent for autopsy.

Police were combing the area to track down the extremists, while areas bordering Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh were being sealed.
