AIADMK Ambattur secretary attacked

Chennai, June 2 (UNI) All India Anna DMK (AIADMK) Ambattur town secretary M R Ravi sustained grevious injuries when an unidentified gang attacked him with deadly weapons last night.

Police said Mr Ravi was in his suburban Padi office when a six-member gang, armed with deadly weapons arrived in three two-wheelers and assaulted him indiscriminately.

He is admitted to Sundaram Medical Foundation hospital, police added.
