4kg tumour removed from woman's stomach

Phagwara Jun 2 (UNI) A four kg tumour was removed from the stomach of a woman in the civil hospital here today.

The woman, Bimla Devi, of Uchapind village in district Ropar, was admitted to the hospital with complaints of severe pain in the abdomen. After various tests, the presence of a tumour was detected, which was successfully removed by Senior Medical Officer Dr Yash Mittra and Dr Rajiv Gupta.

The woman was making satisfactory recovery, the hospital sources said.
