33 per cent quota for women in teaching jobs

Chandigarh, June 2 (UNI) The Haryana Cabinet today decided to amend service rules for providing 33 per cent reservation to women and 50 per cent quota for the rural youth in all direct recruitment posts and for all category of teachers.

In case of the rural youth quota, the benefit would be given to those who had passed their matric examination from the schools in rural areas in the state, Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda said today.

The Cabinet also decided to bifurcate the posts of ministerial staff of Education Directorates into two separate directorates namely Directorate of Higher Education and Directorate of School Education.
