Vinay Kore to receive Veershaiv Bhushan award

Kolhapur, June 1 : Maharashtra Non-Conventional Energy Minister Vinay Kore has been chosen for this year's ''Veershaiv Bhushan Puraskar'' instituted by the Veershaiv Cultural, Art, Sports, Education Pratisthan here.

Pratisthan president Sarlatai Patil told reporters here today that the award has been instituted to honour a person every year from the Veershaiv commmunity in recognition of their contributions in their respective fields.

Mr More has been chosen for the award for his contributions in the cooperation sector, Ms Patil said.

Mr More will be presented the award at the hands of former Maharashtra minister Basavraj Patil at a function on June 4.
