UP to start unemployment allwance scheme from June 16

Lucknow, June 1 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh chief minister Mulayam Singh Yadav will start a scheme for providing unemployment allowance of Rs 500 per month will be paid from this month to the graduates and post-graduates of the state, from June 16th and will destribute cheques to unemployed youth at Lucknow here.

The to-and-fro expenditure of unemployed youth for reaching at cheque distribution place will be borne by the state government.

For getting the allowance, unemployed people will have to fill a scheduled pro-forma.

Unemployed poeple between of 21 to 35 yrs of age on Feburary 28, 2006 will be eligible for the allowance. The applicants belonging to reserved category will get age relaxation according to rules.
