Rise in terrorist activities in Maharashtra matter of concern: Munde

Mumbai, Jun 1 (UNI) Senior BJP leader Gopinath Munde, while praising the policemen for helping kill the militants who tried to attack the RSS headquarters in Nagpur, also said that the rise in terrorist activities in the state is a ''matter of grave concern'' and immediate steps should be taken to stop this.

Reacting to the terrorist attack, today stated that after Aurangabad and Malegaon, now these terrorist have targeted Nagpur and seeing the arms and ammunition recovered from these people, it can be seen that these organisations are targetting Maharashtra in a big way, he added.

The attack by the militants on a nationalist organisation like the RSS has become a concern for the common man and the police should not be satisfied with only the seizure of weapons, but should try and reach the root of this problem and solve it, Mr Munde further said.
