Painkulam Rmanchakkiyar award for Artist

Thrissur, Jun 1 (UNI) Koodiyattom artist Ammannur Kuttan Chakkiyar has been selected for this year's Painkulam Ramanchakkiyar Award instituted by the Painkulam Ramanchakkiyar Smaraka Kalapeetom.

The award, consisting of Rs 5001, a sculpture and a citation, will be presented at a function here on June nine, Kalapeetom Chairman Painkulam Narayana Chakkiyar said at a press conference here today.
