Painkulam Rmanchakkiyar award for Ammannur Kuttan Chakkiyar

Thrissur, Jun 1 (UNI) Koodiyattom artist Ammannur Kuttan Chakkiyar has been selected for this year's Painkulam Ramanchakkiyar award instituted by the Painkulam Ramanchakkiyar Smaraka Kalapeetom.

The award, consisting of Rs 5001, a sculpture and a citation, will be presented at a function here on June 9, Kalapeetom chairman Painkulam Narayana Chakkiyar said at a press conference here today.
