London City Airport reopens after bomb report

LONDON, Jun 1 (Reuters) Flights into and out of London's City Airport resumed today after being suspended for a couple of hours as experts investigated reports a World War Two bomb had been found nearby, an airport spokeswoman said.

''London City airport is now fully operational, but as a result of the temporary suspension of services earlier today we are experiencing delays,'' it said in a statement on its website.

Police said some of the roads closed earlier had now been reopened, but they were waiting for a full report on the incident.
