Law to deal with sale of sub-standard fertlisers: JK govt

Srinagar, June 1 (UNI) The Jammu and Kashmir government has said that the effective steps will be taken to prevent the menace of sale of sub-standard pesticides and fertilisers to fruit growers.

An official spokesman said today that the law will be allowed to take its own course to deal with the menace.

Newl appointed Chief Secretary C Phunsog chaired a high-level meeting here yesterday to discuss measures for adoption of modern technologies to boost agriculture and horticulture produce.

The meeting also discussed threadbare demands of fruit growers.
