Criminal of Satish Jat gang arrested

New Delhi, June 1 (UNI) The Delhi police have arrested a dreaded criminal of the Satish Jat gang, wanted in several cases of murder and attempt to murder.

22-year-old-Neeraj Bhardwaj was arrested by a team of the New Delhi district police after an encounter last night at Bhairon Mandir Marg opposite gate No 1 Pragati Maidan, Additional Deputy commissioner of police, New Delhi district, Manish Aggrawal told reporters here.

Interrogation of Neeraj revealed his involvement in the murder case of J P Pahlwan at Bawana and a double murder in Etta in Uttar Pradesh, Mr Aggrawal said.

A country made pistol with two live cartridges and one fired cartridge were recovered from his possession, Mr Aggrawal said.
