Bodies of all six fishermen recovered

Udupi, Karnataka, June 1 (UNI) One more body of the six fishermen feared drowned after venturing into the sea for fishing on Sunday, was found at Kotatattu seashore near Kota in Udupi taluk today.

Official sources here said the body of Shivananda Bhandari from Bhatkal was recovered. With this, the bodies of all the six fishermen had been recovered.

The six fishermen, who had set sail in four boats off the Malpe coast in Udupi district, were reported missing the next day. Their boats had capsized due to the rough weather and heavy rain and washed ashore near the Malpe Fisheries Port on Monday morning.

The Coast Guard personnel had fished out two bodies on Tuesday last and recovered three from Airody, Thottam and Hoode beach near Malpe yesterday.
