Tension in Dharwad following stone pelting incident

Dharwad, May 31 (UNI) Tension prevailed at Hallikeri village in this district of Karnataka when two groups pelted stones at each other today.

The trouble started when opposition members of the village panchayat tried to move a no-confidence motion against the panchayat president.

Three people, including the Deputy Tahsildar, were injured in the incident. Police intervened and brought the situation under control.
