Randhawa slides to 137th in Golf Rankings

New Delhi, May 31 (UNI) Jyoti Randhawa's poor tied 58th finish at the BMW Championships in Wentworth saw him drop 14 places to 137th in the latest official World Golf Rankings.

However, the seasoned golfer continues to remain the highest ranked Indian golfer in the list with 1.11 average points ahead of Shiv Kapur (1.01), who remained static at the 152nd spot despite failing to make the cut at the Philippine Open, according to information received here.

Orlando-based Arjun Atwal continued with his slide both on and off the course as he dropped three more places to be at 156th after failing to make the cut in last week's Fedex St Jude Classic.

Meanwhile, Jeev Milkha Singh (0.92) also slipped five places to 166th this week after an early exit from the BMW Championship.

Tiger Woods continues to head the rankings with 16.76 average points ahead of compatriot Phil Mickelson (9.54). South African Retief Goosen (8.17) and Fijian Vijay Singh (7.52) are ranked fourth and fifth respectively.

Woods' has now entered his 393rd week as World number one.
