Phunsog assumes office of J

Srinagar, May 31 (UNI) Mr C Phunsog today assumed the charge of Jammu and Kashmir Chief Secretary, replacing Mr Vijay Bakaya who has been made the Advisor to Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad.

Mr Bakaya welcomed his successor and wished him all success in his new assignment.

Various heads of the departments, officers and employees of the Civil Secretariat called on Mr Phunsog and conveyed their greetings.

Both Mr Phunsog and Mr Bakaya later exchanged views on various administrative matters.
