Jeev Milkha singh to endorse golf course in Jaipur

Chandigarh, May 31 (UNI) Jeev Milkha Singh has become the first Indian pro to endorse a golf course after agreeing to associate with the Championship course in Jaipur.

''I am very happy with the idea and look forward to this plan,'' Jeev said today confirming endorsing the course.

''I am very thankful and greatly delighted that you have agreed to honour my commitment to Indianise development of golf in India,'' Col K D Bagga, golf architecture and consultant, Bagga's Golf Management Group said here today.

''This is indeed a red letter day in the history of golf in India and we need to believe ourselves and help our youngsters in building the confidence for the both of golf in India,'' he added.

The company has also designed the Chandigarh Golf Range, Panchkula Golf Course and Forest Hills Golf Course in northern India.

Col Bagga had already discussed the plan with Jeev's father Flying Sikh Milkha Singh who was delighted that his son was endorsing the golf course.
