Chhattisgarh CM writes to Coal Minister on allocation of coal blocks
New Delhi, May 31 (UNI) The Chhattisgarh government has requested the Centre for immediate allocation of five coal blocks to meet the state's industrial demands.
The state Chief Minister Raman Singh, in a letter to the Union Coal Minister Shibu Soren, has requested him to allot five coal blocks of Chhattisgarh state namely Parsa, Morga I and II and two more to Chhattisgarh Mineral Development Corporation (CMDC).
There is an urgent demand for coal by the various industries in Chhattisgarh and the Minister may asked to kindly look into the matter and expedite the allotment of these coal blocks to CMDC at the earliest, the letter added.
