Cabinet to discuss issues raised by Kalam on Office of Profit Bill

New Delhi, May 31 (UNI) The Union Cabinet will meet on Friday to discuss certain issues raised by President A P J Abdul Kalam on the controversial Office of Profit Bill which he returned to Parliament.

Sources said Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will seek the opinion of his Cabinet colleagues on what steps the Cabinet should take in the wake of the President returning the Bill.

The Prime Minister today personally explained to the President in detail, the provisions in the Bill passed by Parliament and sent to him.
