Vokkaligas urge Congress to set right 'injustice'

Bangalore, May 30 (UNI) The Vokkaligas Janajagruthi Federation today urged the Congress leadership to set right the ''injustice'' meted out to the dominant Vokkaliga community, while delivering social justice.

In a release here, Federation President Byrava Siddaramaiah said it was unfortunate that the Congress had failed to recognise dominant communities such as Vokkaliga and Lingayat while giving representation in the All India Congress Committee. Even the State Congress leaders, including KPCC chief Mallikarjuna Kharge, had failed to recognise leaders from these communities, he rued.
