New Delhi, May 30 (UNI) In an obvious reference to the recent exit of some senior leaders from the BJP, former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee today called for an introspection within the party to avoid any crisis.

In his concluding remarks at the two-day BJP National Executive here, Mr Vajpaye stressed the need for the party to look into the exit of some leaders leaving the party.

Though he didnot name any leader who left the party, Mr Vajpayee obviously meant senior leaders Mr Madan Lal Khurana, Babulal Marandi and Uma Bharti who left the party.

''Bahar ka kabhi koi hamare liye sankat nahin ban sakta. Lekin ghar ka hi sankat paida ho jaye to jaroor kahin kuchh kami hai (We donot face external threat from anyone ever. But if some one from home creates crisis then there is some lacunae somewhere).'' He said that if people are not allowed to express their internal feelings at their work environment, then it indicates that there was something lacking.

However, he lauded BJP President Rajnath Singh for taking everyone along.

Mr Vajpayee also stressed the need for better coordination with allies in states being ruled by BJP so that party grows there.

Stating that the BJP is ruling in these states in a responsible manner, he said that efforts should be made to improve performance to such a level so that the party was elected again.

He also called for better coordination between the organisation and the government.

Paying homage to former Party General Secretary Pramod Mahajan, Mr Vajpayee, who had named Mahajan as BJP's 'Lakshman', said that for Mahajan party was the highest entity and everything else was smaller than it.
