UK firm to introduce Ionclean in B'lore

Bangalore, May 30: The UK-based Associate Business Consulting Limited (ABC) will soon introduce, 'Ionclean,' the new water purification solutions in the city, its Chairman Abdul Ghaffar, informed today.

Speaking to newspersons here, he said the new water purification solution 'Ionclean,' successfully tested successfully at the UK National health Service, was the best 21st century water purification system developed to improve public health worldwide.

Stating that Ionclean was a safe, efficient and economical method of water purification that could be applied to any body of water or system to ensure bacteria and virus-free drinking water, Mr Ghaffar said the new water purification solution comprised two basic components, an Ion generator and an Electrode chamber, located in the water supply pipe where the biocide was generated, and a control system.

He said Ionclean offered sustainable water purification without potentially hazardous chemical enhancements. Through the proven method of ionisation, copper and silver ions were introduced into water flows that were consumed by bacteria and algae, which kill them. Unconsumed ions remain in the water providing residual water protection.

He said that the process was simple, scalable and sustainable and this proven method of water purification was unaffected by sunlight, temperature and time and required no hazardous chemicals of special storage conditions and could offer a fresh source of clean water for an extended period of time.

Mr Ghaffar has claimed that presently the water ionising technology was being used across sectors from hospitals to leisure centres because of its simple way of application.

He said the Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board had evinced interest in the new and revolutionary water purification system and was likely to introduce it in Bangalore.

He said the new solution was poised to make a spectacular impact as the European Union (EU) and governments around the world seek to replace chlorine as a de facto method of disinfecting drinking water.

Mr Ghaffar also informed that his company had offered the Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) Infostop, a dynamic new two-way information system, for introducing it in the public transport system to enhance experience.

InfoStop broughts together emerging technologies in Global Positioning Systems (GPS), Wireless technology and real-time data processing to serve urban travellers efficiently.

It also provided the public information about bus arrivals and advertising for local businesses. Besides, it was also designed for maximum scalability to accommodate features such as security cameras, TV monitors and touchscreens that enable citizens to go online, use pay services and buy tickes.
