Tele-medicine centres for railway personnel

Patna, May 30 (UNI) Railway personnel of East Central Railway would now have the access to medical facilities of its Tamil Nadu-based premier Premabur hospital through tele-medicine centres, opening on June 1.

Tele-medicine centres would be inaugurated by Railway Minister Lalu Prasad from Danapur centre.

General Manager of East Central Railway K C Jena said the tele- medicine centres would be opened at Sonepur, Hajipur and Danapur at the cost of Rs 30 lakh each.

Chief Medical officer of Konkan Railway Dr B R Vatsal, said doctors of Perambur hospital would now be able to treat patients, belonging to different places, at their clinics.
