Rajesh Exports enters billion $ club

Mumbai, May 30 : Rajesh Exports Ltd has entered the billion dollar club with its revenue for the year ended March 31, 2006 recording in excess of US $ 1 billion.

Announcing this to BSE, the company said its total revenue for the year in rupee terms stood at Rs 5483.66 crore.

The Company ascribed its consistent performance in registering a sizeable growth rate year after year to fully integrated operations, adoption of cost effective technology, strong research and development wing, good marketing network spread across the world and in India, besides having a state of the art manufacturing facility at Bangalore, it added.

Meanwhile, the Board of Rajesh Exports at its meeting today has recommended a dividend of 100 per cent to all the shareholders for the financial year ended March 31, 2006. This is the second consecutive year, wherein it has announced a dividend of 100 per cent.
