One police constable died and three injured in Kashmir blast
Srinagar, May 30 (UNI) One constable of Jammu and Kashmir police was killed and three others injured in a grenade blast in the heart of the city this afternoon.
Official sources said militants hurled a hand grenade towards a police vehicle at busy Naaz crossing.
The grenade exploded near the petrol tank of the vehicle.
Two police constables and two civilians were injured in the blast, the sources said, adding one of the injured constable, Ghulam Nabi, later succumbed to injuries on way to hospital.
Four tourists from Gujarat were killed and six others injured in a similar grenade blast at Batpora on May 25 evening.
