Man dies in hospital, kin allege negligence

Damoh, MP, May 30 (UNI) Irate relatives of a man who died in the district hospital of injuries from a fall, staged a massive protest in front of the hospital.

No physician was available on the scene even two hours after Collector Pawan Sharma reached the hospital.

''I will ascertain the facts and take action against the guilty,'' the official assured.

Police identified the victim as Hallu Tamrakar, a resident of this district's Hata. About six hours passed without treatment after he was rushed to the hospital and the victim succumbed at 1800 hrs.

Reports said no doctor was on duty despite the fact that other patients were admitted.
