HP police search Gaurav's reisdence

Jalandhar, May 30 (UNI) A special team of Himachal Pradesh police today searched the residence of Gaurav Kapoor who was arrested on Saturday from in Hamirpur after confussing he was hired by a terrorist group to assassinate yoga guru Swami Ramdev was staying.

An official spoksman said the police party brought Gaurav here today and carried out the search in his presence.

A fake IB rubber stamp and two cheques for Rs. 50,000 in total, were recovered during the search, the spokesman added.

The police party later returned to Himachal Pradesh alongwith the accused.
