GE Shipping sells a MR product carrier

Mumbai, May 30 (UNI) Great Eastern Shipping Company (GE Shipping) has sold off its MR(medium range) product carrier called 'Jag Prachi' having a weight of 44,000 dwt(dead weight tonnage).

Informing BSE, the company said the contract to sell the 1996-built vessel was made in April this year. With this, GE Shipping's overall fleet size now comprises 73 vessels.

Out of these, 40 ships aggregate 2.87 Million dwt and the 33 others are offshore units. The Companys new building orderbook stands at 13 vessels - 5 MR Product Tankers, 2 LR1 Product Tankers, 4 AHTSVs and 2 PSVs.
