Free ration to fire victims of Gurez in Kashmir
Srinagar, May 30 (UNI) In a goodwill gesture, the Jammu and Kashmir government today announced one month's free ration to fire victims of the border area of Gurez.
Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir Basharat Ahmed announced one month's free ration to the victims of a devastating fire that gutted 25 houses at Chorwan in Gurez area on Sunday afternoon.
The administration would also provide 15 tents, 80 blankets, utensils and other relief material to the affected families.
The announcement followed a meeting between the legislators concerned and the Divisional Commissioner last evening.
