Four killed, 8 injured in accident in Midnapore

West Midnapore, May 30 : Four people were killed and eight injured as a fish laden truck overturned near the Jhargram wholesale fish market in the district today.

Jhargram Sub-Divisional Officer Ganesh Biswas said here that the accident occurred when the truck was entering the crowded market.

Four people, including the driver, were killed on the spot and eight others were injured, Mr Biswas added.

The injured were rushed to the Jhargram hospital.
