68 civilians cross LoC at Tatta Pani point

Jammu, May 30 : Sixty-eight civilians from both the side of border crossed the Line of Control (LoC) at Tatta Pani area of Mendhar sector in Poonch district last evening.

It has been opened for fortnightly movement of civilians of the two sides of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) and Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK). Yesterday, while 39 civilians came to Poonch from PoK, 29 civilians crossed over to PoK from Poonch.

Of the 39 civilians, who came from PoK, 28 were first timers while 11 Indians returned after completing their stay in PoK.

Similarly, of the 29 civilians, who went to PoK from Poonch, 25 were freshers while four PoK civilians returned to their houses. The point was opened between 1030 HRS and 1600 HRS.
