3 children died, 15 injured in accident

Anand, Gujarat, May 30 (UNI) Three children died on the spot, while 15 others of a marriage party sustained injuries when their tractor-trolley was hit by a state transport bus near Sansoli-Patiya, about 35 kms from here, this afternoon.

According to the police sources, the incident took place this afternoon when the tractor-trolley in which the party was travelling overturned after being hit by a bus of Gujarat State Road and Transport Corporation (GSRTC) killing three children who were buried under it.

The marriage party was going to Modej village from Devki-Vansa village, while GSRTC bus was plying between Godhra-Ahmedabad.

The deceased have been identified as Ravji Parmar (11), Payal (9) and Ramila (9).

The injured have been rushed to nearby Nadiad and Mehdava civil hospitals.

The police has registered a case of accident and further investigations are on.
