Woman, son die after car catches fire

New Delhi, May 29 (UNI) Two persons, including a woman and child, died when the car in which they were travelling, caught fire in Jangpura area of south Delhi.

The incident occured at 2140 hrs outside D P S Mathura Road when the woman was driving a four-wheeler, fire brigade sources said.

Two fire brigade vehicles were immediately rushed to the spot to douse the fire, the sources said.

Both woman and child, however, died on the spot, they added.

The cause of the fire was not yet known.
