Wife's throat slit in police station

Bhopal, May 29 : A infuriated husband slit his young wife's throat at the Women Police Station here yesterday.

Superintendent of police, Anant Kumar Singh informed that 22-year-old Suman Kaur was immediately rushed to government hospital where her condition was reported to be out of danger.

Tulsiram and his wife were called at the family conselling centre attached to the police station to settle down the frequent quarrel in the family with the man suspecting his wife's fidelity. While waiting at the police station, Tulsiram attacked his wife with a weapon.

Police head constable Ramanuj Parihar, who intervened, also sustained injuries.
