TV Today net profit up by 69% at Rs 27.77 cr

New Delhi, May 29 (UNI) TV Today Network Ltd, which owns popular channels like 'Aaj Tak' and 'Headlines Today' reported an impressive 69 per cent increase in its net profit at Rs 27.77 crore for the FY 2005-06 as against Rs 16.43 crore last year.

The total sales of the company was up by 14.64 per cent at Rs 167.89 crore as against Rs 146.45 crore last year.

The Earnings Per Share (EPS) of the company went up to Rs 4.79 as against Rs 2.83 over the last fiscal.

''In spite of a highly competitive market, we are on the growth track. We will continue to deliver value to our investors and advertisers by expanding the new base,'' TV Today CEO G Krishnan said.
