SOE of two army officers begins in lady officer harassment case

Jalandhar, May 29 (UNI) Summary of Evidence proceedings against two army officers in a case of alleged victimisation and harassment of a woman officer have begun here today.

Official sources said here that as part of preliminary internal inquiry, summary of evidences against Col D Mitra and Major Nowhar of an Air Defence regiment in the above case was being conducted.

If prima facie case exists against the officers, then they will face a general court martial (GCM), the sources added.

Two officers are facing allegations of harassing and victimisation of a junior lady officer.
