RJD leader requests Sibu to talk to UPA about govt formation

Ranchi, May 29 (UNI) Senior RJD leader Girinath Singh today requested Coal Minister Sibu Soren to talk with the UPA to form an alternative government as days of Arjun Munda government are numbered.

Mr Singh said that as Mr Soren is a minister in the union cabinet, he should take up the matter with the UPA to form an alternative government in the state.

After the last election, the UPA had formed the government but it could not survive due to internal bickerings, he said.

Talking to UNI, he said that not only the opposition but a section of the ruling BJP MLAs had also expressed disatisfaction about the functioning of the Arjun Munda government.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Arjun Munda had repeatedly said that there was no threat to his government and he would prove his majority in the floor of the house.
