JK Lakshmi's net up by 113% at Rs 55.45 cr for FY06

New Delhi, May 29 (UNI) JK Lakshmi Cement Ltd today registered a growth of 113 per cent in its net profit for the year ending March 31, 2006 at Rs 55.45 crore as against Rs 26.05 crore in 2004-05.

The sales during 2005-06 stood at Rs 700 crore as compared to Rs 592 crore, a growth of 18 per cent, during the same period last year.

''The company's on-going projects which would also enhance production capacity are progressing well and are expected to be completed ahead of schedule by September 2006. Its project for installation of Captive Thermal Power Plant project is also progressing well and is as per schedule,'' a company statement issued here said.
