Income tax officer, 5 others arrested for fraud

Barasat, May 29 (UNI) Six people, including an Income tax officer and a policeman, were arrested for allegedly drawing Rs 17 lakhs from an Allahabad bank ATM here today.

Sub-divisional Police officer of Barasat S M H Mirza said the accused got the sanction in fake names.

He informed that of those arrested, four were employees of the Barasat branch of the bank.
