HC grants bail to Red Fort shootout accused
New Delhi, May 29: The Delhi High Court today granted bail to Matloob Aalm, an accused in the Red Fort shootout case.
Justice R S Sodhi and Justice P K Bhasin observed that the sentence of the accused should be suspended in view of cumulative effect.
Arguing for the petitioner, Anil Aggrawal submitted that Matloob Alam had already served two years and six months of his sentence coupled with little possibility of the case being heard by the court in the near future.
