City court remands one to 2-day PC for murdering a doctor
New Delhi, May 29 (UNI) A city court today remanded the man, who allegedly shot dead a doctor in the Gole Market area here yesterday.
Patiala House Court Link Magistrate Vrinda Kumari, remanded Javed Ali to 2-day police custody for further interrogation and intensive investigation in connection with the alleged murder of the ayurveda doctor Rajesh Abbot, 33.
Ali,22, was apparently upset with the doctor because the latter's medicne had affected his sexual prowess. The victim, Abobt shot at least six times by the assailant died on the spot. After shooting the doctor, Ali tried to flee towards New Delhi railway station but was nabbed, said a senior police official.
He was booked under sections 302 (Murder) and certain sections of the Arms Act.
