Two injured in firing at Allahabad Railway Station
Allahabad, May 28 (UNI) At least two people were injured today in firing following a scuffle between a man and some porters at the railway station here.
According to the General Railway Police, Om Prakash Singh while disembarking from Sarnath Express had a row with the coollies during which his 12-year-old nephew fell down on the track.
This led to serious altercation following which Singh took out his double barreled licensed gun and started firing. Since himself was hit on the head and a vendor was also injured in the firing.
Both were taken to hospital.
Meanwhile, the GRP has lodged an FIR and the gun seized.
