Pondy Cabinet expansion tomorrow; Centre approves Ministers' list

Pondicherry, May 28 (UNI) The new Rangasamy cabinet in the Union Territory of Pondicherry would be expanded tomorrow.

With the Centre approving the list of ministers submitted to it yesterday, Pondicherry Lt.Governor M M Lakhera would administer the oath of office and secreacy to the new ministers-- Mr V Vaithilingam, Mr E Valsaraj, Mr M O H F Shajahan, Malladi Krishna Rao and Mr Angalan-- at a function here at 0930 hrs tomorrow.

For the first time, the venue of the swearing in ceremony of the ministers was shifted to the Gandhi thidal from the Rajnivas premises.

According to offical sources, this was done to accomodate more supporters of those assuming office as ministers who will witness the ceremony.
