NTR'son appeals to cadres to rejuvenate Telugu Desam

Rajahmundry, May 28 (UNI) Former Minister N Harikrishna, son of the Telugu Desam founder and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N T Rama Rao, has appealed to the cadres to come together and work hard for the TDP's success in the coming elections to local bodies.

Speaking at the TDP ''Mahanadu'' here last night, Mr Harikrishna, also an actor, the party was passing through a crisis.

Mr Harikrishna, who rejoined the TDP a couple of days ago, recalled that when the late NTR gave a call to youth to join the party, they flocked to it. But now that enthusiasm was missing.

''It is time everybody joined together again and work for strengthening and developing the party,'' Mr Harikrishna said.

Criticising the Rajasekhara Reddy government for indulging in ''murderous attacks'' on Telugu Desam partymen, he said former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu had ruled the state adhering to ''our tradition of 'dharma'-justice to all.'' UNI BAK KD GC1200
