Naidu pays tribute to NTR on 84th birth anniversary

Rajahmundry, May 28 (UNI) Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Chief N Chandrababu Naidu garlanded the statue of TDP founder- President and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N T Rama Rao on his 84th birth anniversary, here today Mr Naidu was accompanied by TDP MP Yerran Naidu, NTR's actor-son Harikrishna, who recently rejoined the TDP, TDP MLAs T Devender Goud, Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, TDP leader Gorantla Butchaiah Chowdary and noted film actor Murali Mohan.

He garlanded the statue amidst slogans NTR Amar Rahe' 'Chandrababu Naidu Zindabad', by the cadres who are attending the party's ''mahanadu'' here.

He also cut a cake on the occasion. Mr Naidu also garlanded a statue of social reformist Kandukuri Veeresalingam.

The TDP President also unveiled a statue of the late NTR at Mangaluripeta and that of former Lok Sabha Speaker G M C Balayogi at Kambala Cheruvu village in East Godavari district.
