Lankan girls are champs, Pondy boys to meet Manipur for title

Pondicherry, May 28 (UNI) Sri Lankan girls ''A'' team bagged the title defeating Tamil Nadu by a solitary goal in the fourth junior National seven-a-side football championship here today.

Pondicherry girls finished third defeating Sri Lanka ''B'' (1-0).

The Pondicherry boys team has set up a title clash with Manipur defeating Nagaland 3-0 in the semi-finals. Earlier, in the quarter finals they beat Maharastra 2-0. Manipur outplayed Mizoram 1-0 in the other semi-final match.
